Ten Pubs and Restaurants
The Watts-Russell Arms, Hopedale
Just five minutes walk down the road, this friendly little pub offers an interesting menu.

The George, Alstonefield
Also just five minutes walk up the road, this pub is very popular with the village residents, who meet to catch up on all the news.

The Staffordshire Knot, Sheen
This is a nicely-restored old pub with atmosphere and good food.

The Packhorse Inn, Crowdicote
This deservedly very popular local pub offers good beers and a wide menu.

The Crag Inn, Wildboarclough
This cosy pub with open fires is just the
thing half-way round a long walk on a crisp winter's day! Good food and Sunday roasts.

The Manifold Inn, Hulme End
This is a busy popular pub offering traditional fare.

Bramall's Restaurant, Ashbourne
You must book in advance for a meal here. It has changed hands and we would like new reports.

The Gate, Brassington
A busy village pub and more. Old oak beams, flagstones and candles. Excellent food and beers. And a ghost!

The Okeover Arms, Mappleton
This excellent restaurant was recently taken over by new owners and has achieved good reviews in Derbyshire Life. We would like reports please!

The Travellers Rest, Flash Bar
Located in a high, wild spot, this cosy pub with open fires and lots of curiosities offers a truly unique experience!
